hi , does anyone know if k ghia seat tracks are the same as bug or type 3. thanks greg

It might make a difference depending on the year as well.

all type 3 are not the same ill see if I can take some pictures of the different types and let you know what year they correspond too. also you should get the attention of type3disease a member on here he would know straight away

Hi Greg,

Beeltes and Type 3 changed over the years and were never the same as each other.

Karmanns were the same all the way thru.

You could modify a set of pre 70 Beetle runners to fit a Karmann but it woudl be a lot of cutting and shutting. You can buy new repro Karmann seat runners now in the states from one of the Karmann specialists as new pan halves come without them.
