Hi all SA Based beetle folk. We had Benji beetle (58 restored) lined up to drive in a friends wedding 1st week Jan 2014, but he caught on fire and is not going to be in any fit state to make it to the wedding.
Can anyone please offer a possible replacement as we feel awful that we can't do it.
Benji was to spend a few hours showing off ferrying members of the wedding party and posing for photo's.
We haven't told them yet and were hoping to have something to offer them as a replacement to soften the blow.
Any help gratefully welcomed....

How did the fire start?

This can happen after a restoration or the car being painted etc.
