first time taking the whole family in the ghia for a spin since the little one was born 10 months ago.
went on a nearly 200km round trip to the Royal National Park, had some ice cream at stanwell tops while the little ones were fascinated by the hang
gliders ect.
then carried on to scarborough beach. kids loved the experience and the little ghia did not miss a beat! love this little car!

Nice
That beach shot is awesome. Looks like it belongs on a calendar!
Good to see the car getting used.
It won't take the tykes long to outgrow the back seat, though.
BTW, congrats for getting yourself in that first shot. Well done!
Yep, the beach pic is a winner!
That thing has some serious brakes under it, wow!
Looks like a great day.
I had to do a double take for a minute with the blue iridescent but then I saw no white top.You should be proud of the beautiful little car, that is
the first time I have seen a pair of kid's seats in one since our kids were small.
Nice Ghia and a nice little family, well done mate.

Beautiful.....all of it.
At the same age, our two boys [now 47 & 45] sat in the back of the 1500 Beetle. There were NO child restraints available then, so I had a trimmer
friend sew up some webbing to make a little harness for each of them.
Most people back then didn't think about kids in prangs, but being a panelbeater, I saw what could happen.
You say you love this little car, no wonder it's beautiful! Your third photo is now my (computer screen) background
Love It..
Haven't even started my Ghia yet..
looks like an epic day Rick! good to see you getting out and using the old girl a bit more (and indoctrinating the kids ).
