Hi All,
A preview of issue#41 of VW Magazine Australia is now available at http://www.vwma.net.au
There is also a new Facebook link on the home page that offers a few more photos and info about the latest offerings in issue#41.
New for 2014 is a full digital version of VWMA, available through Ilovemagazines.com.au, Pocketmags.com, i-tunes and magamall.com
Fear not - the printed version of VWMA is here to stay for the long haul, but the digital option gives me a chance to make available digital versions
of back issues, particularly the sold out copies, such as the much sought after issue#1 and the Ghia special issue#8. These will be uploaded gradually
over the coming 12 months, as some issues must be re-designed as the software originally used is obsolete.
This is the 10th year for VWMA, not only publishing the quarterly magazine, but also supporting VW clubs and gatherings across the country, organising
new shows and events (for example the drag meets) and being a part of the action around the nation. It's been fun and a pleasure to be a part of the
Australian VW scene, and I look forward to at least another decade of VW involvement (can't get too far ahead of myself).
Cheers
Craig
ps For print subscribers there is a special BMX bike giveaway in this issue
Looks good
Congrats on 10 years
Nice work Craig, 10 years on and going strong.
Looking forward to receiving my copy in the mail.
I'd almost be able to apply for concessional editor registration? As long as I stayed in the cave or did not venture further than 12 kilometres from the computer….
10 years! Great milestone. Well done Craig, you deserve a very big pat on the back. Many have tried before you and failed so we should not
under-estimate the work and effort you put in to make the magazine a success let alone the effort that goes into the drags and other events you
support. The VW scene in Australia would be a poorer place without your efforts.
Next biggy will be issue 50! bring it on!
Well done Craig! 10 years, wow that flew by!
VW magazines in the past, have always generated new interest in the VW scene,
and yours is no different.
In fact with your series of drag racing events,
the number of dedicated drag cars in Australia,
has grown to an awesome level, now perhaps 10 fold,
which was less than 10 dedicated cars, before your envolvement 10 years ago.
Thank you!
Congratulation Craig. Isn't it spooky-strange that Aircooled Classics makes its 10th issue and you make your 10th year. I like that!
