This ad for Valla Park holiday resort comes from the Sydney Sun-Herald - in February 1974!
It's been a while since I've walked over that wooden bridge.
I'm making a return this year after missing the last 3 or 4. The challenge will be making the wife fast for 8 hours. Aint no eating in the polo!
Ooops. I went and got myself a new job. And they are telling me I probably cant have the week off due to critical timing with the project schedule. (The work project schedule, not the valla project)
don't think the wodden bridge is there now its metal from memory
Today I got somewhat of an approval to go to Valla.
To be fair, if I was the manager I wouldn't give me time off either. Its at the worse possible time of year. My "stuff" is due to go the client
next week and I really should be staying at work Valla week in case they come back with some queries/changes. And I know they will because thats what
clients do. Unfortunately we're probably a week behind schedule. So if I get 2 weeks worth of work done next week, AND take my laptop and phone with
me... I'm allowed to go.
Hectic week coming and hopefully I wont need to spend too much time flogging Nambucca Maccas wifi.
