Don't be wet - go to Valla
Phil74Camper - February 26th, 2014 at 06:24 AM

This ad for Valla Park holiday resort comes from the Sydney Sun-Herald - in February 1974!

It's been a while since I've walked over that wooden bridge.

I'm making a return this year after missing the last 3 or 4. The challenge will be making the wife fast for 8 hours. Aint no eating in the polo!

Ooops. I went and got myself a new job. And they are telling me I probably cant have the week off due to critical timing with the project schedule. (The work project schedule, not the valla project) :(

Today I got somewhat of an approval to go to Valla.

To be fair, if I was the manager I wouldn't give me time off either. Its at the worse possible time of year. My "stuff" is due to go the client next week and I really should be staying at work Valla week in case they come back with some queries/changes. And I know they will because thats what clients do. Unfortunately we're probably a week behind schedule. So if I get 2 weeks worth of work done next week, AND take my laptop and phone with me... I'm allowed to go.

Hectic week coming and hopefully I wont need to spend too much time flogging Nambucca Maccas wifi. :borg:
