Hi all.
Just wondering if the Bug In car show was happening on Easter Saturday at Geelong?..Can't seem to find info about it. Am i looking in the
wrong places.
Is it competing with the Bendigo event ?
Which event would most people be going to ??....
Bug in is at Geelong there is also a show at Bendigo as well .see add in events calendar about Bendigo
Just to clear things up,
Bendigo was the host city for the 2009 Bug-in,
piggy backing off the success of that event we have successfully had a great Volkswagen show on Easter Saturday every year since.
Volksclub Bendigo was more than happy to not hold the event should another Victorian town be hosting the bug-in and go along to support that event. To
date Volksclub Bendigo have had zero correspondence in regards to the 2014 Bug-in. From what I've been told this seems to be the case for most
Volkswagen groups across the state.
As far as we are concerned there is no "competing" happening, we are running our event as we always have.
Please feel free to make up your own mind as to what event to attend.
We have had fantastic feedback from different Volkswagen groups across the state and will welcome anyone that would like to join us on Easter
weekend.

I'm guessing most people will go to Bendigo as I haven't read any details on the geelong event!
Bug-in is on in Geelong, and you can find info about what, when, where etc. at http://nationalbugin.com/
I'm in Brissie and not going to either it or the Bendigo show - just tryin to share the info I know of.
(and yes - Bendigo ran a pretty good event back in 2009)
Thanks for the info all....
Bendigo it is
Cool, see you Saturday morning then
I've had 4 or 5 calls today from Melbourne folk who are meeting at the Calder BP at 9:30.
Already seen a few dubs cruising around town tonight.
I went and had a look at the Geelong waterfront at about lunchtime as they had advertised a display from 9-2, or there abouts, and I wasn't able to
get to Bendigo. No much happening, 12-15 vehicles give or take.
Revolks on the other hand is a great event on the Geelong calendar.
12 to 15 vehicles.............thats a real shame
Well done organizers....................
Bendigo was better and had a good carnival and park events for familys, definatley the place to be over easter.
Today in Bendigo was fantastic, everyone I spoke to had a ball.
We had 82 cars in total and even a parade and fireworks to round out the day. Pics soon
