Administrivia: Attachments table crashed

Hi there,

Sorry for the outage. I have repaired the attachments table, but it seems to be fairly low in terms of row count (less than 80,000 images).

The popular image threads seem to be all there, but please check out your latest posts with images in them.

If I need to restore last Sunday's attachment table, I will do so, but I'd prefer not to if we don't need to do so as it will cause its own set of problems.

Hi folks,

Due to mysql corruption, we are getting suspended / rebooted from time to time. If this happens again (or the forum doesn't allow you to post again), please call or SMS me on 0451 057 580 and I'll get on it.

I'm also trying to make our mail work properly. Hang in there, it'll be a bit rough tonight.

The new e-mail system is running. Can folks please try sending e-mail to me (click on the "e-mail" icon) and sending an e-mail. You don't have to if you don't want to.

I'm not seeing registration mail either. I've turned Contact Us back on, and that does seem to work.
