Vale Sally Berry
grazza7755 - May 17th, 2014 at 12:01 PM

It is with great sadness and shock that I inform you of the passing of Sally Berry.
Sally and Dave Berry have been keen VW enthusiasts for over 40 years with their TRAKKA motorhome company.
Where would we be without them.
Sally lost her battle with depression this week which leaves a tremendous hole in the closenit TRAKKA family.
The depression disease is one that is clearly not understood by many of us. I for one must take more notice and try to pick up on any clues that our family or friends may give out.
RIP to a beautiful lady, our dear Sally.

That is not good news.
My condolences to the family.

I have lost 2 immediate family members to depression, and agree much more needs to be done to solve this disease.
Depression tears a hole in not just the affected person - but those that love them

RIP Sally. My condolences to her family and friends.

I did not know them, but I know of the campervans - my uncle had one way back when I was a little tacker growing up, and in some ways this led me to the cult of serial VW ownership.

If you're a geek with depression, there's bluehackers.org, and there always good resources out there with Lifeline and Beyond Blue, but what helped me was a discussion with my GP. YMMV.

thanks
Andrew

My heart goes out to those who have been affected by Mood Disorders (Black Dog Institute reference - BDI).

Besides being a VW owner and enthusiast, I am also on the Board for a cycling group that organise cycling events to raise much need funds and awareness for Mood Disorders. http://www.zoo2zoo.com

If you are ever out cruising in your Dub and you see a cyclist wearing one of our Zoo2Zoo jerseys, give them a wave as they are out training for one of our events and also raising much needed funds and awareness for Mood Disorders and BDI.

Kind Regards

Clem

My condolences to the Berry family (no relation that I know of). I did not know them but I certainly owe lots to thier passion for the VW marque and camping conversions.
RIP Sally
