Hey guys have to give a big thanks to Matt Berry for helping me out to get my new buy back home to Yeppoon.Called in to get some fuel at Cooroy Qld
and noticed fuel leaking out of a hose(breather as Matt later told me)and new to kombis and something like 500kms from home had a bit of a panic.Rang
RACQ first but got told that because we were driving on a permit and the car wasnt regoed they wouldnt help.Gave Matt a call and like a true Vdubber
he came out and help with good advice and some fuel line.
Thats what this club is all about, dropping what you're doing to help someone out.
Again many thanks Matt and yes we did get home.
Yeppoon you say? Top place!!
Drop me a line if you ever need any help or bits, or just want to hang out and talk VWs.
You have PM

Thanks Dave, all in the line of duty mate. Glad you made it home, and there ya go, Smiley has made himself known like the trooper he is. The VW gods smile
dropped a beverage possibly maybe the rumour in hillbilly country via the grapevine at that
good on you hillbilly matty
nice one!
and nice to hear you new dubbers made it home!
G'day all. vwfive you couldn't have picked abetter place to break down. 1 of the best came to your rescue. As a kombi baja owner the little I've
had to do with Matt I have always found him to be great help & support well done Matt. I don't have much in the line of parts & a little
knowledge of VW motors but always happy to help out stranded on the Nambour area so if your stuck. get in touch. I a few bay kombi rims & tyres
& 4 stud beetle in case anyone ever needs an emergency spare to get them on the road as well

where is the like button? VW people are the best
While we are on a be nice to Matt kick, I would certainly like to give him a big tick.
He never seems to be too busy to have a chat and give advice freely when I have rung him, even though I am in Tasmania and cannot drop the car round
for any work.
Will make it to the big northern island one year and am looking forward to catching up with a few of the members here.

In these days of people doing nasty things to other people, how refreshing it is to read about an old-fasioned 'Good Deed'.......'onya Matt.
Its good to hear nice stories from hillbilly country. Someone told me it was like Deliverence but without the banjos
Yep, while I've never met Mat or had any contact with him ( least not that I recall ) I have hade a few contacts with others on this forum with similar results, managed to give a bit in return from my very limited store of knowledge, gives you that warm fuzzy feeling .
I've been looking for the 'Like' button as well
I'm looking forward to my move to hillbillie country and I think I know where I'll be going if / when I need help ! Or maybe a stinking beast of a motor. Looks like I'll be just down the road from Matt too
