Brisbane VW Type 1 mechanics
Allbones - October 22nd, 2014 at 11:04 AM

Hey Dubbers,

Ive had an ongoing electrical problem that has beaten me, so I'm currently booked into Leons Motors to have a service done and diagnose the electrical issue.

Just wondering if there was any other VW mechanics in Brisbane (Within about 1 hour of Ipswich, as that is the range I can drive the car) or is Leons it?

Thank you!
Allbones.

ive just booked my new kombi into custom vee dub in stafford. Not used them yet but heard good things and having met Pete i was very impressed with his honesty.

Maybe worth a call?

I had my beam assembled there and they were super helpful. But i need my car back on the road asap so getting in a week earlier was alot more helpful to me.

I have used Simons Car Clinic, 22 Greensward Road, Tamborine, 4270 ( 07 5543 6155 ).

Always a few V dubs being serviced there and a competitive price.

Bit of a hike for me though unfortunately.

Second for Pete at Custom Vee Dub.
There is also Pheonix engineering in Wooloongabba. Not used him but he has been there for a bit.
Unfortunately the only decent southside mehanic - Roger Wood - retired recently.
