Number on metal plate.

Under the luggage hood of "Otis" - our 1500 Beetle - behind the spare wheel, painted in body colour and welded in place, is a metal plate with the numbers "114 3630" stamped.
What does it mean, anybody know for sure?

It's just the model number, ie type 114 would be RHD standard beetle hardtop export model.
