just wondering if there are any VW 411 or 412 owners in Melbourne. be good to see more than just my 411 at the day of the VW this year.

I am actually surprised that even one person, you that is has one in the country.

Last i heard there was only 2 or 3 of them still on the road in aus.

I would love to have one, I remember reading up on them as a kid and thinking "where do it get one? so much better than my type 3!"

Wasn't until I got the internet then I realized they never sold them here :td:

There was one at Dubs at the Abbey this year and I'm fairly sure that he is local to Sunshine coast. And I have heard about another one somewhere on the Gold Coast. But hasn't been driven in years.

its really an amazing VW, so much more comfortable than a type 3 or a beetle, and 85hp is quite powerful from a little aircooled engine. I have a 2 door fastback but would also love to have a 4 door sedan if i could find one that isn't that bad. Does anyone know is the one that andrew dud has is a 4 door/

Andrew is selling a 4 door, its the hatch style body. I don't think he's asking too much either. But that's IMHO. Just give him a call. 02 9683 2184

I know of another 411 in a private collection, which also has two swimmwagons, and 54 Aust delivered barn door bus. No details will be given.

it does!

VWs sure know how to hide there. I barely see any there, even when I lived there 3 years. Scoured all the wreckers 3 weeks ago there for a 250 X flow engine and kept an eye out for vws and parts 0!

Are they all hiding at your place? ;)
