This ad for WD-40, supposedly a genuine ad from 1964, has been circulating recently.
It's very funny! But sadly it's a fake.
The company has always spelled it 'WD-40', with a hyphen. Cans had a black cap in the 1960s, not red. 'Passageways' is one word, not two. In the
last line it should be 'It's', not 'Its' - with an apostrophe (short for IT IS). And even though the paper is crinkled, the text remains straight
and true.

I've seen that before. Probably in the late 60s or early 70s. You bought them from joke shops etc.
