This might be common knowlege but I just got a brand new classic roof rack for my beetle off ebay from the US for 290AUD to my front door. Ive seen them for as much as 650 bucks here, the best Ive seen was 460 from a place down south.
It takes about 3 weeks to get there and you have to put the whole thing together, but that only takes an hour or so. Decent quality too, all silver powder coating and stainless steal faseners. Place is called Kustom1warehouse.

Anyone dealt with these guys before? Prices look awesome!
