A while back I bought some tickets in the Cystic Fibrosis Raffle
Think it was at the Nationals-

Was for a 1967 beetle

Anyway - it was drawn on the 16/11/2014

Anyone have any info on who won?

Obviously wasnt me

A bloke in Vic won it. Only bought one ticket. He will be adding it to his other collector cars (mainly MG's) and will be leaving it stock.
He picked it up at the Cub Christmas party last Sunday and I believe he will be joining the VWCV. So it has gone to a good home (not as good as my place or maybe yours but a good home nevertheless)
The VWCV sold all tickets and raised $25000 for the raffle and a VW dealer tipped in another $1000. All costs for the resto were paid for by the Club. Many businesses and individuals donated parts and numerous members put in a huge amount of time and expertise gratis
