I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here's to a EarlyBay filled 2015!
Well I probably will never own another Kombi but Seasons Greetings and hope you have a wonderful Christmas day.
I can remember Christmas in 1969 in a beetle going to my mum's friends house. Rain included it was a day I will never forget. We ate pretty well
and the rain was falling all the same, we played with hot wheels tracks and cars of the era on that track at the back of the house while my mother
and father talked to their friends.
I can remember walking around the first Beetle I ever really looked over: the red door trims and a greyish car, sprung back seat and me- about 3,
looking into the rear windows. Standing on the running boards...... No seatbelts then.
No worries then. Such was life. Carefree and easy. Just like Christmas has and always will be to me.
Cheers,
Ian
