Just had a quick read, I wish the club plate system was as good in NSW

Yeah its great already but I understand open to abuse. My issue is finding someone now who is sympathetic to a 50+ year old vehicle with things like small steering play. theyre out there though.

If it's original and roadworthy it should be OK, there has been some abuse with lowered and modified cars without engineering they are trying to clamp down on.
Race cars and modified should now go into M plates after engineering and a VASS certificate.
The club scheme we have in Victoria is a good and practical system compared to NSW. To keen old car drivers the new rules won't make any difference.
