TREASURE trove of Volkswagens in an Adelaide backyard
kombivw - October 23rd, 2015 at 05:18 AM

A TREASURE trove of Volkswagens has been unearthed in an Adelaide backyard — and now the 16 vintage vehicles are going to go under the hammer.

The vehicles belonged to a former Semaphore resident who passed away several months ago.

While details of the deceased man — and how he came to collect the vehicles — haven’t been released, the cars are set to be sold at auction.

The collection includes old Kombi vans and Volkswagen Beetles

Some of the prices they went for were a bit steep.
I would have liked the low light single cab, even with it's rusty tail.
The Bash Bus is (?was owned by the bloke at the sign shop out on Port Wakefield road. I was talking to him about it a few months ago.
