A milestone of sorts for the magazine will be reached from the next copy of VWMA - 50 issues of the magazine and 12 years of publishing Australian VW stories.

VWMA will be at the Gold Coast show with the 50th issue on this Sunday 1st May (weather permitting). 1963 Dollar$ and Sense Bug will be on display for those who haven't seen the Beetle in the flesh.

Craig - Volkswagen has always spelled 'GTI' with a CAPITAL I. It's not a small 'i'. (never mind what the ignorant Pommies do). It's Peugeot, not VW, that uses a small 'i'.

Except in South Efrica but they speak funny anyhow.



Also syncro and quattro are lower case.

I remember a letter to a VW magazine journalist years ago like this!
