Looking to do a road trip with the family and wanted to get fellow dubbers input into places to stop at.

I've never done the road trip south so I'm open to any suggestion.

A few destination I'm looking are
1) Goldfields at Ballarat
2) Dakdak Cafe
3) 12 Apostles
4) ?

The Grampians & Halls Gap
Logan Pub - Great country pub
Mirrool Pub - great country pub
Conargo - pub has burned down but still cool place to visit.
Echuca - GREAT bakeries and river cruise

And yes - there was a theme. The Royal Outback Tour.
EVRY town has a Royal Hotel.

Long Track cafe in Jugiong do a great feed, and just off the Hume Highway so super convenient. We'll time our trips to coincide with going past at breakfast or lunch, rather than the usual Maccas at Yass or wherever. Quick service, casual country setting, great food and coffee.

According to the plaque located at the Beetle on the pole - Most VW's per capita than any other Australian City.
