Hey everyone. Thought I would share some pictures from a week long Fraser Island trip that I just got back from. Had two Bajas and my Baja bus, plus a
few waterboilers.
Happy to say that the bus went everywhere on the island and did all of the hard tracks. Was very impressed with how it performed.
On the barge.
Parked up at Eli Creek.
Heading north through Ngkala Rocks South Bypass track.
Lighthouse at Sandy Cape.
Lake Garrawonga.
A few old wrecks for Keith. Check out that bullbar!
Bit of a hillclimb up the the old Tower.
Nice view from up here!
You can see the old aircraft hanger. The runway is all overgrown.
And we found this written on one of the posts inside!!
Lake McKenzie.
Looking at the turtles at Lake Allom.
Out to the west coast for a swim.
Coming back the Awinya Creek track.
Sign at Champagne Pools says it all.
Awning city back on the west coast again.
View from Lake Wobby lookout.
Lake Birrabeen, this is my favourite lake.
Packed up ready to head home.
A couple of tag-a-longs!

Love it Smiley. Nice to see a budget bus that's so capable off road.
What sort of pressures were needed to get through the soft stuff?
Looks like an excellent trip! Pity I missed you all, I was up there earlier in the month!

Great post.
Good recap, looks like it was a lot of fun!
Hi Smiley.
Is Ngkala rocks as easy as it looks? Taking the Touareg in a couple of weeks and want to try to get to the Cape.
