Hi folks,

Hope this is OK to post but as some of you may have already seen over on the Book of Face and on Kombi Forum, I am working on a project to create my own photobook called "The KombiPhiles: A Book Venture". The project is looking to showcase a wide range of Kombis from Daily Drivers through to Show Ready machines, their histories and backstories. Your machine doesn't even have to be roadworthy right now and (in the worst case scenarios) I am also interested in "The Lost Ones" - projects that never made it or buses that lost out to the elements but have some great personal history.

I have created a FaceBook page ( http://www.facebook.com/kombiphiles ) and a WordPress blog ( http://kombiphiles.wordpress.com/ ) to provide ongoing updates on progress. What I am looking for is to get in touch with owners of any/all Type 2s who would be interested in sharing their story and having their vehicles photographed/featured.

Folks, if there is anyone in/near Tenterfield, Inverell, Uralla, Kempsey or Bellingen next week I am going to be on a bit of a roadtrip and would love to meet any Kombis in the northern NSW region
