Hi guys,
Sorry if this has been asked before.. I'm thinking about buying a 68 VW Beetle on NSW historic rego which is current, do I need a blue or pink slip
to register it normally? I ask because most clubs need you to be a member for a year before issuing a historic rego certificate. I'm hoping its just
a pink slip because it already has club rego but I could be mistaken. Can someone shed some light on this please.
Thanks.
You will need a blue slip.
Pink slip for Historic.
Okay, so it already has Historic NSW rego, I want to put normal rego on it.. will I need a pink or blue slip. Just a bit confused from the
responses.
Cheers

The Club Plates are not transferable Your purchasing a unregistered vehicle
To get full NSW registration you will need a Blue Slip
If you want Club Registration then you will have to join a Club first and then apply
The current owner of the vehicle has to return the Club Plates to the RMS and advise the Club of what has been done
Club Vee Dub Sydney Inc
Thanks guys all cleared up now 👍
