Hi folk
Its been one hell of a long absence from this forum.. I don't have any air-cooled toys atm (except for a 1972 Yamaha XS650 in resto if that counts) so the lack of anything to participate with basically took me onto other things..

My fleet is still basically VW but, in keeping with getting older, modern comforts and reliability outweigh nostalgia for the most part. For those that are interested, my wife has a 2015 Toureag R-Line V8 diesel, my son has a V6 Amarok, my daughter has a 2018 GTi, I tool around in a 2.0L Amarok (chipped) and we also have a 2013 Golf 2.0 Comfort line as a spare.

In addition to the above I have a 2009 E90 M3 and a 2010 E92 M3. Both of these are weapons (4.0l V8's at 420HP+).

Any rate, good to see, from a quick browse, that many old heads are still around and plenty of new names.. As I type this, I'm looking across the room at a middle seat for a bay window. The only recovered item from a 1972 Bay I restored in 2002 (it was t-boned by a dickhead jeep driver). So the memory is still alive~!
