i have just brought a 72 kombi and the person i have brought it off also said that they have a roof which attaches to one side of the van and rests over the roof, to use it simply folds 180 degres over to become a hard top annex type of thing, I havent seen this roof yet but has anyone heard of anything like this, not sure if it was a vw brand or not roof.
