You've got just a little bit of welding to do on the heater channels before you can join the body to the pan after 10 months apart and you run
out of Acetylene on a Saturday night. Hmmmm.
D'oh - it has happened to me with mig wire!
But I must admit I hate it more when I go to separate the body from the pan, and what do I find along the heater channel? Some clever (not) person has
welded the body to the pan - what turned out to be an hours job turns into five hours (and lots of careful grinding).
I can empathise with your pain!
Alan
One of my pan halves was NOT welded in at the front. Let in a lot of water over the years before I got it and rusted out most of the front left. Everyone who has seen it thinks I'm crazy to fix it but I'm almost done the lower parts of the body. I should throw the whole sordid story and pictures one this site and label it "buyer beware".
