Well Carina is over for another year and it was a pretty good day. Weather was very hot and sunny so the canteen did a roaring trade on drinks and the
swap meet was very busy.
Sunshine Coast KlubVW convoy'd down in the morning with Starbuggy along for the ride, we lost her when we turned off to the gateway arterial, and
didn't see her about at Carina (Where'd ya get to??)
Fuz was along with a carload who we also lost once we got there (awesome paintwork on the bug Fuz),Frog and family in the Kombi, Andy and Sean in the
'Ghia and Simon and Karen in their Camper.
There were some great cars to look at down there, as usual the camera got a good workout.
KlubVW Bayside set up a Beach Display for the competitions and did a fantastic job on it, looked awesome!! Congrats guys on a brilliant effort

It was a big event this year bigger and better this year. We had 69 show cars entered, plus we estimate about 150 cars in the vw only parking area
beside the show cars.
Big thanks to all the people who showed up, and made it such a great day, and also John Brose who hadn't slept for the last three nites, trying
to get everything ready.

shani- i split off to drop my dad off in queen street and pick up my still-sleeping partner! slight detour i know 
i had so much fun though!! all those people who overtook us on the highway must have been a bit weirded out by such a synchronised line of
vw's... hehehe
sorry i didnt run into any of you at the show (except fuz and crew- and my bf loved the paint job! hehehe)
perhaps we can catch up again soon when im up the coast (which is often)

Starbuggy glad you managed to catch up with fuz, we sorta lost his group once we got in the gates too.

Hi All.
Just to let you know we are already planning at the next vw show
(at Coomera on the 16th Nov)
to put up a meet & greet tent for forum members to come over & say Hi.
It will have a sign to say
"AVD forum get together".
I will keep you posted on info about this
as time approaches...
