Sydney Dyno Day (Sunday 7th December)
HotRodMatt - September 25th, 2003 at 11:23 AM

The Sydney Dyno Day is offical!

Sunday the 7th of December at the Custom Bugs and Buses shop.

Cost will be $35 per car. After all cars have had their first run any subsequent runs will be FREE! (a $2 charge will apply if you want a print out).

There will be a sausage sizzle running and the CBB Drag car will go on the Dyno around midday.

A parts clearance sale will also be on - shop parts at swap meet prices! Heaps of panels, glass, mechanical components, lights etc...

This is a fantastic opportunity to either simply give your car a power run to see just what sort of honest at the wheels power your car is making, or to tune your car for optimum and safe performance.

If you elect to have your graph display Power and LAMBDA you can tune your car between runs - you could be runing rich and losing power or running dangerously lean and risking serious damage at full noise...

HotRodMatt - September 26th, 2003 at 12:40 PM

Oh yeah... Audis are welcome too....

XXX-1.8T - September 26th, 2003 at 01:15 PM

ill be there with some VW and Audi mates ok Matt

:bounce

XXX-1.8T - September 26th, 2003 at 03:46 PM

Question Matt:

Can it do 4wd as some of the Audi guys have quattro?

HotRodMatt - September 26th, 2003 at 04:00 PM

It's a two wheel drive dyno...

If you wanna remove the fuses you can run 2-wheel drive...

XXX-1.8T - September 26th, 2003 at 06:13 PM

but the A4 have torsen 4wd which is mechanical theres no fuses!

Only the S3/TT has Haldex which is electronic

so no go for A4/S4 guys :(

XXX-1.8T - September 29th, 2003 at 11:07 AM

I have around 5 golf GTi's and more to come :)

Also a couple of Audi's as well :)

OvalGlen - October 11th, 2003 at 10:10 PM

I will pay $37 I like to file these historic documents " Glenn's first dyno ".:beer

HotRodMatt - October 12th, 2003 at 03:08 PM

You only pay the $2 for printouts after your first run Glen.

The first run's printout is included in the $35 for the whole day ... as many runs as you can manage

OvalGlen - October 14th, 2003 at 09:05 PM

Sounds like A " Tuning Fest " to me,,
but I'll still be paying $37....
thats $35 for the first run with print out and $2 for the run when I get it all sorted....
sweeeeett....!

HotRodMatt - October 15th, 2003 at 07:52 AM

You're confident Glen. All sorted in one run? man you must be a jet/emulsion tube/timing wizard!

vw_carrera - October 15th, 2003 at 08:11 AM

If I have moved to Sydney by then, be rest assured I'll bring my Type III and Glen could tune my car whilst he's at it ;)

OvalGlen - October 16th, 2003 at 08:04 PM

Hey , I'm expecting to get 3 or 4 runs with what appears to be the low numbers attending.
Cant wait.
