I kruised down to Chirnside Park today to pick up my 'new' kombi auto and saw a few nice VWs along the way. Aside from numerous kombis and beetles (many of whom didn't wave) I saw a real nice squareback in Olinda (mustard), and three 356's outside the Cuckoo Restaurant (yes I know they're not VWs). I also found a KG for sale for $3000; I didn't meet the owner but I left him my phone numbers and the forum web-address, so hopefully we may see him here. :thumb

Is this for the 1800?
They are a different box to the 2L arent they?

I have no idea! If it comes to the worst, I have a 2L sitting in the shed, but I don't see any reason (yet) why the 2L box won't go on an 1800..... :o

I thought that the 1800 and 2 ltr auto's were different and not interchangeable?
