OK
Anyone out there watch the show
I'm going to the Ramsey St Trivia Night next Monday so need you to fill me in one what's happening so I can attempt to answer some
questions
So what's the goss??:bounce
Who lives there now, who's married, divorced, cheating, dying or dead, on drugs, depressed, has an eating disorder, has come out, achieving, or
become a pop star - what's happening out there in good old Nunawading
Love to know:thumb
p.s. does anyone drive a VW in the street or are they all still holdens and fords

Who has time to watch TV? This much more entertaining.
libby ( dr carl and suzans daughter) drives a pre 68 green beetle looks pretty nice (my wife forces me to watch it)
marcel
Watched it last in about 1989, i dont think much has changed...a bit like days of our lives
Neighbours Scott married Sharlene and Tobies dog bouncer shat on mrs mangles front lawn. And plain jane the super brain is now hooked on crack selling herself in Grey st Stkilda.Man trivia nights what a blast?
Libby Drives a 64 Green Bug (which is absolute immaculate, And I could have bought that car about 4 years ago for 5k, from a Car wholesaler in Sth
melb, when I was in the industry!) You will see it in the start intro.
N!
i seen it too N
nice paint and the whole bit !
was in brunny street with a 4sale on it...
Libby had a fling with Taj and is now moving to South Australia with Ben (baby) to take up a teaching position.
Steph has breast cancer and wouldn't tell anyone, but as usual she now has told everyone except her boyfriend, who she was living with (his wife
died of cancer before they moved to Ramsay Street), and his 2 kids, Boyd and Summer.
Lyn and Joe Scully had a baby boy named Oscar.
Karl is extremely attracted to Izzy (Stephs boyfriends sister), but Susan suspects that Izzy is trying to get it on with Karl and is putting a stop to
it. Oh and by the way Susan lost her memory when she slipped in the kitchen.
Lou still owns the pub.
I will give you more as I think of it.
Kathy
NOW THIS IS MY TYPE OF POST
Toadie's wife (of 1 day) De, died on their wedding day a few months ago when they were on their way to the hunnymoon and the car drove off a
cliff and she drowned. Toadie now lives with Stuart (mechanic) and Connor (Irish).
All three boys are single. Toadie has two brothers, not featured in the show - their names believe it or not are stonefish and tadpole.
Steph has breast cancer and had her first round of chemo last night, Max (her ex boyfried) saw her at the hospital and now knows what is going on. The
are now back together. Max told Boyd and Summer (his childen) why Steph left them. This was because his ex wife died and it was very hard on them all
and Steph didn't want to put them through it. The kids decided to stick by steph and help her out.
Steph lives at home at the moment but will no doubt move back in with Max.
Her family is the Skully family. Joe and Lyn with baby Oscar and Jack live at the house. Michelle and Flic have left. Flic and Steph had a huge
falling out as Flic had been seeing Steph's ex while they were together. The whole affair was revealed on their wedding day.
Jack is with Nina although she has only just come back from a trip away. She admitted to Jack that she kissed someone while she was away. Jack was
furious but they are ok now.
jack has not yet admitted to Nina that he too had kissed someone - Adwina.
Harold lives in the court with his grandaughter Sky who is seeing Max's son - Boyd. She is a bit of a rebel. Lou has gone bankrupt and has been
living with Harold. Last night Harold won a BMW but feels guilty about owning such an exoensive car. Harold does community work for the Salvation army
and still works at the Coffee shop.
Izzy is Max's sister and is living with Max for the time being. She is causing trouble and has taken an interest in Carl (Libbies dad,
Susan's wife). Susan susspects what is happening. He has cheated on Susan before - years ago so Susan will put a stop to it quickly.
cant think of anymore
:P
Just look at what I've been missing out on
Gunna print this off and post it on the notice board and work
We'll kick arse at the trivia night and win all the prizes:thumb
I'll have to watch one night to get a look at Libbies beetle
its quite funny that dee and toadie got back together , . . . engaged ..... married and then she died within the span of 2 weeks ..... not that i
watch the show or anything hehe
going back a bit, libbys hubby drew was killed in a horse riding accident, he was the local mechanic then his old mate stu, blair from big brother,
was moving in on libby, they recently moved in togerher but now she'd goin to SA
toadie blamed stu for dee'd death coz they drove his car to her death and it couldve been faulty but connor said it wasnt and the coroner found
it not to be the cause of the accident, the real cause was toadie leaning over to kiss her not following the bend in the road and drove off a ramp . .
. . eh cliff (you can see the ramp in the grass!!!!)
lynn . . . . well she's got post natal depression but gettign better.... you heard all bout steph and i duno wats doing with harold at the moment
. . . ive been working nights and havent caught the show . . . . not that i watch it or anything . . . . geez wat do u think i am !!!
atleast i dont watch home n away
cheers
adz
LOL adz
Sure u don't watch it
Geez it is all happening in Ramsey St:o
So do you reckon Libby will go to SA??
She used to give me the shits when I used to watch the show with the kids. Felt like telling her to get her act together:jesus This was pre marriage,
she was plain painful
She still is plain painful, but yes she will leave as if you look closely she is pregnant in real life.
Thanks for reminding me of Max's name.
KATHY
I can't believe people actually like that show!!! i went to england and they r like a season or more behiond us and they kept trying to get me to tell them what happened, but the only thing i knew was the car crash bit. they love it...i don't get it. it's painful to watch...in my opnion neway
I was in the back water of Kerala in India on a local ferry with a group of Britt girls all wanting to know what was happening on Neighbours!!!:o
At that stage I was living a very back to earth existance and hadn't even seen the show, so was no use to them LOL
Have them come in to book for the trivia night, and they want to know who's going to be there the night they go:jesus
Seeing we have a very big party night on Saturday for Moi's engagement we may do the 20th October instead of next Monday but we are all keen to
do this trivia night. It should be a hoot!!!!
and we''l be ready with the answers:thumb
Told friends at work about this post, and how I'm gunna print it off so we're ready for the big night. They thought it was very cool. Found
out we actually have a nightly watcher of the show amongst us so we'll be double ready:bounce:bounce
Those Britt's aren't gunna have a chance:thumb

Wahoo!!!! It's tonight and this is now printed off:thumb
Free food and booze again:beer
a mate of mine is an extra on the show and has told me that:
- Harold has a stroke,
- Lou gets married to some chick,
- Lous new missus is pissed a Harold cause Lou is in seeing and comforting him all the time.
just thought that someone might want to know.:jesus
Well, how did you go???????
Kathy
Just got home
Toadie touched me on the back, and spoke to me, eeeeeekkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!:o
Does this mean I'm not allowed to wash my top?
Lots of young UK people there, mostly with tans from time spent north of the border
Girls in tiny tops and boobs bulging out, so it's a good place for the guys to hang out and try their luck
People start arriving at 7 pm and start drinking, some eat. It wasn't until 9.10 that they brought the 3 Neighbours stars out to meet the crowd.
At this stage every one runs around with their cameras taking pics
OK who they had there tonight
Connor, the cute young Irish guy (and he is cute in real life)
Toadie, who has just had his real life bucks night and get really married in 3 weeks
Dr Carl, mmmmm he's aging well
They didn't say much and each one had a body guard with them as the came out to the stage and when working the crowd. Obviously some fans must
get carried away:o
We left just after 10pm and only done 6 of the 60 trivia questions
It's a mixture of general knowledge, sport and Neighbours questions. We weren't good at them so maybe would have won a booby prize
Not sure why they start it so late, people were getting bored waiting and the music was so loud and bad, you couldn't hear what people were
saying to you
They have a screen up showing old Neighbours episodes (no sound) Think they showed 3 opr 4 weddings, someones death and Libby going into labour:eek
Hmmm, they had that "Don't blame it on the sunshine, blame it on the boogie' song playing while this woman was dying on screen
Foods good there, and I stuck to drinking Kilkenny for the night:beer
I was wondering if they start late so people get a few drinks into themselves and react better when the stars come out??
It does go on until 1.30 am
If you're a bunch of Neighbours fans it would be a good night, plus it's another excuse to party and meet other travellers
The place was packed, we were told it was a quiet night. I can imagine in our summer, when the backpackers are down here in Melbourne, they would be
hanging out the door:party
Jenz....all these Neighbours Spotters have got it wrong.
Ailsa died, and Pippa left yesterday. Bobby has a drug problem, and there are too many Elmalogologologogloooo's in the show.
And most importantly....the dog's name still is Bouncer.
Squiz.....
Thanks now you tell me
My work friends enjoyed reading your posts/hints:thumb
We had a good laugh until we got bored waiting for it all to happen then it turned into 'Is this ever gunna start??!!'
I suggested a prison type chant, 'We want Toadie!!' banging fists on tables etc to see if it moved things along
I think it would have been more fun if it did start sooner
haha-being a pommy backpacker in melbourne i was going to get myself along to this night soon-only problem being the person i was going to go with has
netball on monday nights. season finnishes soon, so ill be there soon
like the sound of the people who go there too-thanks for the info jen
bish
bish, welcome to sunny Melbourne
Have you found a VW yet to get you around Oz?
Quote: |
The two in my Avatar
Bel's a 58 beetle and Dr Livingston is a 70 Type 3 sqback
Well, I was only kidding about the sunny. We can be a bit sarcastic about our own weather down here
