Hi Kai,

If you come out to Eastern Creek on Saturday you well see at least 4 beetles circuit racing. There will be 2 superbugs, an L bug and my oval.

We may be joined by a targa beetle or two from Vintage Veedub.

We do supersprints with the Porsche Club of NSW. We race in the associated class which has up against all sorts of cars such as a PRB clubman, moified WRX and an R32 Skyline GTR. At the last round I managed to come second in the class behind the WRX but in front of the Skyline.

Next year we should have a few more beetles joining us, in which case we may get our own class.

CYA, CT

You're in Avalon. That's where I keep my car. You might have heard it.

If you visit the Porsche Club of NSW web site(there is a link from Club Vee Dub's site)all the information is there.Getting started is pretty easy you need to apply for a C2 CAMS licence(about $90),entry is normally between $180-$220 (which buys you heaps of laps). The next round at eastern creek is the last round of the year,so it may be a bit late to get organised.I started early this year and cant get enough of it.It is positively the most fun you can have with your pants on!! Well worth coming to have a look on saturday.

i'd love to know a bit more about the specs of these dubs, especially when they can beat skylines which are fast by any stretch of the imagination....

any pics would be cool too.... :D
