Flying VW - October 17th, 2003 at 07:57 PM

It's easy to climb.
I did it in 1977 when I was 7 years old, than again in 1998 and also 1999. I went to Darwin again in 2000 but I couldn't be stuffed driving out there again. But I love the Rock there is something very special about it, that you can only appreciate when you are there looking at it. :)

isnt there a path going up it ??

Robo - October 17th, 2003 at 09:03 PM

How much do Ya have ta pay to get to the top?
Rob.....

Flying VW - October 17th, 2003 at 09:27 PM

Yeah you climb up the side of it, once you get to the top you follow the white lines untill you reach the middle of the Rock the whole climb takes about an hour.

It doesn't cost anything to climb up the Rock but it does cost about $40 to enter the park it might be more now.
:)

Well Iv'e got a fat nose from playing footy for twelve years and the occational brawl, and I have olive skin, do ya think I may pass for a brother and get to do it for free?
Rob....

jenz58 - October 18th, 2003 at 08:27 AM

Maybe Rob, give it a try:thumb

Robo - October 18th, 2003 at 08:48 AM

Knowing my luck, they would catch me and because the bend in my nose goe's the wrong way, they would know I was from a different tribe, and start attacking me!
Rob......

LOL

Jon had a crooked nose from fights in his Navy days

He was Dutch but looked so Middle Eastern or Jewish (same family group:o)

We used to reckon he was the son of a gypsie man that his mum used to talk about from Holland:o

When she had a couple of drinks she used to relive her barefoot days on their Dutch farm with the gypsies camped on the property. Her fondest memories. I almost have every word etched in my memory :jesus
