2003 NSW state Class Champion (Hillclimb)

Congrats to Colin Mayman of Tamworth for winning the 2003 NSW hillclimb series, 1301-2000cc improved production class. (now thats a mouth full !)

Colin has managed to keep the VW flag flying in this class ( I only ran the first event) making it over a decade of VW wins! and 8 years of a 1916cc powered VW winning the class.

Great to see the VW's on top yet again !!:thumb

Jeez, he must have had to do some engine rebuilds throughout the year then!

He was at Grafton this year but I can't remember him doing too many runs.

From memory though, he was quite a few seconds behind your record there.

yeah.... he had to replace his melted 94 bore pistins after every run!!! NOT:P
