yeh it aint a bad base.......it needs a new passenger door cause it is rust ridden....and to the left of the floorpan in front of the passenger door u can see the ground thru the floor....other than that the rust is minor.....the previous owner has done a terrible bog job on the 2 rear pillars which needs fixing as well.....new inside door skins which i will make myself.....new seats.....new steering wheel......and definatly new floor pans .....a sturdy step behind the driver could put your foot thru the floor........then i wanna paint it 2 tone. blu with half white doors

hey hey... bargain.
our first vw was a 71, happily named deloris. looked ruff so i primmer painted it to one colour. had no interior other than the seats and soemthing resembling door trims. but the 1600tp flew. that was until one day coming home on the f4 i decided to double clutch back to third while flying past a merc at ohhhh i'd say 130klm. deloris didnt take to kind to that sort of abuse and kidly showed me by spitting bits of the motor everywhere.
anyway we coasted all the way up this hill and then all the way donw the other side to the hawkesbury bridge. there i rang a mate and he fetched me..... first of many, and i mean i did a few on the f4.
LOL those were the days.:D
have fun with it. i wish you as much happiness but maybe a little less pain than i had wiht trusty old deloris.:thumb

yeh im only in year 12...finishing this year so hopefully i will get enough money next year to give the old girl a once over. and back on the road:D
