There are a couple of People I know who are doing up Beetles into Hot Rod vehicles.
That is Hot Rod style / customizing .
Also have seen a number of Traditional Hot Rodders around this area Lately as well.
Two in particular Are Radically Channelled and chopped. " Very Low" .
- I hope this Trend Continues, and I encourage those guys building their Rods .

Yeah me too.....
It's quite funny actually because I've been in a Hot Rod club for about 6 years because of the love for customs and rods and actually got
into bugs for the reason of customising one......most of them actually refer to my bug as my 'rod'...
Here are some pics of the guys cars I hang around..... http://www.geocities.com/top_oz_rodders .... there is even a link to Reubs volxrod WTF.......
I would love to build a fenderless I-beam fronted bug for my next project.
Yep, I really like the rod ethic of chopin' and welding, it's a truer form of 'customizin' than sticking on accesories!
For those that haven't already seen it I recomend taking a look at http://www.runtrod.com/ great tech articles on roof chops. I love the fenderless pick-up bug with a split kombi turret, freakin
awsome ,its in one of the gallery's.
I'm building a runt rod style '32nd scale slot car currently
I am trying to build a 23 T bucket at the same time as building my buggy. At least the bucket will have a kombi steering box in it:P Two full projects
at once is just DUMB
aaaarrrrrhh projects!!!! Tell me about them. I am in the middle of a few at the moment, including my 53 Vespa, with a few waiting
