Who's ready for Tassy
Flying VW - October 25th, 2003 at 04:44 PM

Who's ready ???
I am, in the past few weeks I've replaced the Gearbox, Wheel bearings, Wheel cylinders, Brake shoes, Clutch cable, Clutch plate, Pressure plate, Thrust bearing, Generator, Fan belt, Generator pulley, Regulator, Battery leeds, Oil and I think thats about it. But I gave it a tune as well.

While it's apart, sometimes you just have to say what the hell.

I'm nearly ready. I've completely restored my 59 bug from the ground up for this. Can't wait to see your van Dubnut. I've just bought a 69 microbus, my first type 2 and I love it. Hopefully it should be lowered in time for the show. Look out for a cream micro on flat4 sprintstars. Can't wait.

What's the plan for the Saturday you folks arrive? That's the day I leave Tasmania, and I'll be in the area. Maybe we could do lunch.

The cars are off loaded then we travel from the boat to Jackson's cars in Devonport for breaky, leaving a couple hours later to travel to Launceston for morning tea at the Seaport, built by Jackson's cars. They are the VW dealers and sponsors for some of the Cavalcade.volma1
