My car was origionally done up and for sale at the car yard on burwood highway just over the hill from Warrigal rd. They used to put some beautiful cars there.

They used to have a nice Purple Factory Rag sunroof there as well!

that car went to Volkspower where it sat there and i gazed at it.
ended up getting sold to a guy who was going to sit it in his garage and then leave it to go overseas. I actually cried about that car and tries to talk the guy out of buying it.
But he had money and i couldn't compete. Luckily, Adam had aphoto of it that he gave me to stare at.:cry

I actully went there with 8K CASH And the guy said to me 10K firm! ITs ok thought, cause even though Im spentding a shiat load more on My rag top, it will also be excactly what I want! It was a nice car though!

yeah, they actually spent a lot more than expected to complete it for sale condition. so the price went up too.
I tried to get the cash together but it just didn't happen.
I did have it for a day though, got to drive around for a bit. It drove really well.

Me and my kombi are in Box Hill. I've seen a few other kombis 'round Box Hill but I'm not sure if they're on this forum.

didnt they have a 70's Karmaan Beetle cabriolet but there too? I think it was white or red... I was oogling that rag top at one stage.... they also had that nice baby blue 928 that i think VolksPower bought....

yes, the Karmann beetle that was there was red and it was HOT. i loved them all. It was a shame that place was neer a bend in the road cos i nearly hit something every time i went past.:bounce
