YEah !!! very nice.

German too, so very fitting.

Not sure what your plans in the future with the kombi are, but with those rims you can always slam the kombi, paint it matt black and stick some low profile rubber on - would look mint !

i would try and hide the merc logo. make up some sort of centre cap and they would be cool as. but with the merc logo, it looks a bit slap happy on a vw.

Yeah just get one of those silver textas and go over it!!

Seriously - i like em.

Do you mean $200 for 4???

If so... what the hell - $50 a wheel!!

$200 each??...... well even there you can do worse.
You pay $50 for a second hand tyre!

r thay same stud patern as kombi or thay have adaptors??

Personally I like these Merc mags off an SLK. They look the biz on a kombi! Got a friend who owns this in Singapore.

blue74l Yes that’s for 5 wheels with good rubber and I might be able to get them for $150
Doug Sweetman Check out members rids and look at wacked1 kombi. handycam The wheels fit on without adaptors because they have the same PCD (stud pattern) as a Kombi. and last to twoguns the centers look a bit prissy and if i get em I'll change.
thanks

Hay wacked1,
at that price don't hesitate; you can always sell them on to any Kombista (like me) for 2 X.

Good score.....I paid $70 a rim for my Ford mags and that was without tyres.

Just remember Ron, if that's the look you want go for it. If it's not exactly what you are after don't put em on because thay are cheap. Pick a theme and stick to it. It will turn out better in the long run.:thumb

Black_math - November 1st, 2003 at 01:08 PM

Man id buy em, but listen to decked twill be better in long run

Boozer - November 1st, 2003 at 06:44 PM

Good stuff Wacked1, I have a set of Merc rims on my twin cab which look very similar but they do not have the small holes in them, just the bolt holes. They look very neat.Offset is the same as Kombi.SWEET....:bounce

Hi guys
I’m looking at going low but my problem is that the xmember hangs don a bit low, I seen a pic of a bay in another post I put up asking for pics of bay rats it was white and it had merc rims on it I thought it looked pretty cool although they were different mags, I might pick them up and store them till I decide what to do, if i could score a set of mags like the ones in the post titled hardcore bay that would be cool they are old skool centerline type mags, good to see you guys care about what others are doing.
Thanks
Wacked1
