I wan't to paint my kombi in a aluminim/steel finish. Can you paint it in a clear finish to look 'nude'?

Yeah I've seen a split twincab ute down like that.....didnt look real flash tho.....

i have seen a split that was stripped and just started to tarnish/surface rust and was then sealed.

Apparenlt you sandblast to bear metal and then clear coat to get a 'nude' finish.
The cost is cheaper becaus ether is no finish coat.
maybe I'll stick with the 'clothed' look.

Unfortunatley the puchase of my new van has fallen through.

u must remember that that would make any repairs very visible - no bog to hide them
