still getting over the hail damage that was done last weekend, i managed to get through a bad week at work and just survive until the weekend. little
did i know it was going to get worse.
driving down the m2 today a rock from somewhere unknown has flicked up and shattered my windscreen. we were lucky it didn't fall in on us. we
pulled over as soon as possible with out causing an accident. a few hours later i was back on the road. $250 out of pocket might i add!
but hey its a new windscreen!!! bet the old one was all misty and scratched up..30++ years old...prolly a lot safer now.. Better glass.
Bit of a bugger though..
sure this week be better
man that sucks big time. hope it all gets better for you.
:cry sorry to hear of your bad week. but just think, the next few are going to be much better!!! any week following a crappy week is much better!
Think on the bright side, things can only get better! and at least you have a VW, what can be better than that!
Rob.....
Heh Aaron...sorry to hear about all your bad luck..
They say these things are meant to be character building!!!!!!!!!ARGGGHHHHH...I know it doesn't feel like it at the time.
Hope everything improves from now on...
Not good dude. Shattered windscreens are a pain.
Had one go on the beetle Christmas day a couple of years ago. Had a spare but after the shattered one decided to wait for a laminated one when the
shops opened again.
On the bright side I found a small bit of rust starting under the rubber so fixed it also, so not all bad.
HOPE THIS WEEKS BETTER FOR YOU.

poor dub
donkey..'but hey its a new windscreen!!! bet the old one was all misty and scratched up..30++ years old...prolly a lot safer now.. Better glass" not quite. the only one they could get at the time was in W.A and cost would be 600-700 to get it sent over and put in so just got them to fit a spare i had lying arond. spoke to the m2 office today though, i was told to put the incident in writing and they would review it to see if theior insurance covered it...if not i'm out of pocket, if so they repay the costs.
