here are some pics of what was a great weekend. and thoase that picked from annabay missed out on some great dune action after the rain.
we all had fun, i think although a few casualties...
barb form NSW suffered early after banging the floor a few times. she finally broke and the oil flowed freely... and out came the troops.

Each time I see buggies in the sand I start thinking I want one!
sand was soft in places and so it required a team effort.

Yep the most fun I had was after Anna bay . The sand was so much fun .

does the car have to be street registered to get on the dunes? or is it like private property?
Nope nope
yes apparently you have to have a permit style rego for the beach or a rego'd buggy to legally drive on the beach.
and sorry lardo, the white man was down 0 from 2. maybe you will have to take the reigns next time. he even asked me to take it easier the second
time.
I asked myself the same question when i saw it so i got out my trusty "explore australia" touring companion and discovered that it is in
Newcastle NSW.
