Two sweet beetles, Sasha and Bel cruise up to Walhalla for the day, via Coopers Creek
Col, in Sasha, charts our progress on the new GPS and gives running commentaries via walky-talky, great gadget to cruise with. James was my co pilot
and kept up chat with Col.
Conversations e.g. Col "Jen how do you feel about taking Bel onto dirt?" Jen via James " Jen's OK, just no crossing creeks or
anything". Col "Na, no creeks Jen" (boyz possibly secretly think 'damn' but are too nice to say)
Turned out to be a most excellent drive, popular with 4WD'ers and bikers. Beautiful scenery. Nice solid rocky road surface. Excellent mountain
country with some very nice bends
Looking out over Gippsland
At the Coopers Creek Pub, just reopened. Amazing spot to stop. Packed with bikes and 4WD's by the time we left. Our girls got some looks:thumb
Parked by the river (a popular camping spot)
Lunch at the Walhalla pub. Packed with 4WDers and Bikers. Excellent atmosphere
Col had just given us a tour of Walhalla. A place really worth visiting
Can't remember what they were looking at if anything, just chilling before the drive home
Looks like a great day out
