say your reading the buy/sell forum and when you "refresh"the page it updates with new ads...my Q' is this,for a u2u to show up in the top right hand corner do they just come through or do you have to up date/refresh the page?

Pretty sure you have to refresh. Not 100% though.
Maybe Brad or Andrew will be able to tell you.

In short you need to refresh as the page is cached in your system and will not change until told to in an attempt to speed things up. The flashing images and stuff you see are all anumated gif's and are down loaded as such.

You can code a page for dynamic updates but it wastes bandwidth and doesn't really achieve anything on here.
