No need to go to Ebay, I've got them in stock! u2u if you want one
I would like one if they werent the wrong year model and the Stripes and numbers werent wrong,
Why do people make half ass models of things?
what extent do you want to go to?
they used that many different beetles to make the movies it's not funny.
I've seen pictures of ovals done up as herbies that were used in filming.
have a close look next time you're watching "the love bug" pay particular attention to the scene where Buddy Hackett is leaning out the
door and herbie is up on two wheels. There's no number on the right hand door!
to be more precise, the inside of the doors should also be grey, and have the same aftermarket racing seats.
maybe it should also have the Porsche Super 90 engine in it.
or should it have hydraulic suspension fitted?
depends on which Herbie you are talking about.
For my money, it's a close enough replica to know what it is.
At least it's not a 1500 !
It would appear you are not alone,
many people cant even tell the diffence.
It annoys me greatly,
why not have a red Herbie or a blue one.
why fuss over the colour if all the rest is near enough is good enough.
Disney was a shocker for continuity, Dont even get me started on all the sloppy Herbie making.
If you are selling a model of a Herbie, They should at least have the decency to use the 63 model beetle as a base and pay attention to what all the
stripes and numbers actually look like, What font they are etc, After all If I tried to pay for it with something that looked similar to australian
currency but wasnt actually australian currency the shit would hit the fan.
I think if someone makes a model and is charging money for it they should at least get it right.
I am not attacking the guys here selling it, but the makers of the actual model.
point taken Herbie.
I like your replica better anyway. :thumb
