I'm sure every kombi driver has wondered if they are allowed to drive in a bus lane... anyone been busted and argued their way out of it?
And while I'm at it, the sign for the tranist lane says "two occupants". Is a dog an occupant?
come to think of it, it would be rather cool if the brisbane council used kombis as busses, i think more people would use public transport!
and dogs arent considered occupants, though they should be because no-one loves a car-trip more than a dog does!
hahaha my kombi looks like a company publicity bus - so I always park wherever I want - loading bays, side of the road ... everyone waves and asks if
i'm giving away freebies It's a blast !!
coro drive on the way to uni has a little digital picture of a bus over the transit lane during peak hour and I have though to my self many times
'thats me! I'm a bus!'
I don't know how the cops would feel about it though, so i haven't been game to try it, also there is the matter of my noisy
muffler.....best not go there
i reckon a dog qualifies as an occupant if they are sitting in the front with you. My bullmastiff x boxer sits up just like a person and leans into
the corners like a person wouild, people laugh at him everywhere i go... sometimes i forget and wonder why they are pointing at us laughing ...
Well VW named them MICRO BUS so I would asume they would have to allow it!
Our rego label has '1975 VOLKS BUS OGE' on it. oge being for orange.
Then there is the rego "HELBUS"
We would have to get away with it/ be allowed?
