I am Claudia, 30 from Sydney (Northern Beaches) and am a prowd owner of a VW Beetle 1966. I have loved VWs all my life.
Would like to meet some people who own a VW too - anybody lives near the Northern Beaches in Sydney?

Am not looking for a love affair or crab like that - but I would love to meet some cool, nice and normal people like me.

Welcome to Aussie Vee Dubbers! There are lots of Sydney people here, and lots of Sydney clubs, I'm sure you'll find some people to meet.

Welcome aboard, I live at the other end of Sydney, there are a few people from your area on here. If you dont get enough VW talk on here you can come along to some VW events or VW club meetings, there are about 6 clubs in Sydney, why not attend a few meetings to get a feel for the club to see if its the sort of club you want to join.

I shall be watching this post with an eager eye, to see just how "Normal" the VW people are.

Having Said That, I have met some great people from here, None of them Normal, but most of them Decent.

Good Luck and next time I come to Sydney or you come to the Gold Coast I should be keen for Coffee and a chat.

I reckon we should organise a Northern Beaches cruise....start off at Dee Why, go via the Newport Arms for lunch [will we ever leave], and then head up to Palm Beach. Anyone else keen on this to bring Claudia into the fold?

Yes organizing a get together for you to meet other dubbers is a excellent idea.
Just pick a meeting place most people know & time & I am sure most here would love to come & chat about their cars to you.
If I ever come down there...
I would arrange a meeting like that myself to meet everyone down there from this forum too.
