Hi Folks, You may remember from such mails as "LHD to RHD conversion" and "Has anyone got some storage space". No I'm not Troy MacClur. I have just received a notice from the concil regarding my kombi which has been sitting outside my house unregistered for the past 9 months. I don't want to sell it. But I currently can't use it as it is LHD and there are a number of other issues. The only options I have is to get it converted to RHD or put it in storage. I have until nov 24th before they come back and impound (then sell) my kombi. I didn't have too many replies regarding either of the above. I can't afford too much on the storage option (probably $100 per month max) and I reckon conversions can be expensive. So I thought I'd ask one more time if anyone has got some storage space to rent me for about 6 months or if anyone know where I can get a conversion done and how much it would cost ? u can register LHD cars in NSW cheaper to register it!!!

Yeah I must say my neighbours are pretty sick of me and my cars filling the street/driveway/garage/lawn/there are no spare spaces even for their visitors in my street at all, and when people visit me, they park across the neighbours driveways like they are blind.:cry
Wish I couls help, {even if I live a long way away} if its roadworty bar the steering side, just register it, I wouldnt switch driving sides, way too much trouble to ruin the originality of the car.
