It is - but we will be deleting all images over 3 months old on a monthly basis, so it would have to be re-loaded regularly.

The other problem is that avatars must only be a maximum of 120 pixels wide and a reasonable height (and I prefer square avatars) to ensure that pages don't get mucked up with huge avatars.
