Was "tinkering" in the shed and found this carb & manifold I forgot I had. Does anyone know what it is off??????Manifold is well made,carb is bloody large!!!:jesus:bounce

This is a Brazilian Solex H-34, also manufactured under the name "Brosol" (i.e. BRazilian SOLex).

These are usually fitted to Chev Opalas (Commodorish, 4 or 6 cylinder); the only mention I can find of this carburrettor on a VW is fitment to the SP-2 variant, 1700 motor, between 1972 and 1975.

They are also used as a performance piece for the Chev Niva, a sort of small 2-wheel drive SUV.
