It happened at North Ipswich.. i had to quickly brake because the car infront of me did and then 5 seconds after bang bang the car behind me hit me twice but it wasnt his fault it was the ford behind him... when we got out of our cars the fella in the ford said he wasnt looking for 2 seconds and wham.
my baby is hurt :(

BUMMER!!!- you ok??

If you want some good news is THEY will fix your car as whoever hits from behind is at fault.

How much damage has been done to your baby???

luvmybug - December 12th, 2003 at 10:57 AM

im ok.
The back bumper is f*cked.
and the exhaust pipes are bent up.
when they fix theyre going to have fun trying to match the colour

Oppressa - December 12th, 2003 at 11:12 AM

Starbug - December 12th, 2003 at 11:22 AM

:cry:cry:cry accident!! Thats not good at all! what a bummer start to the weekend :cry:cry:cry

But like blue74 says, they will fix your car, you cant do much about getting hit from behind:( Dont worry, your baby will get better :)

Hey, sorry to hear the bad news :(

Always check further on a VW. any impact on the exhaust puts load directly back on the motor, partiularly the exhust studs and heads etc. Hate to see it show up down the track and wonder what caused the problem. :thumb

I got hit from behind and also check that the panels where the bumper brackets attach arn't bent or warped. I found lots more damage the more i looked. SO make sure u find everything before u get the repair work done.

you poor darl,
I know how much it hurts.
People need to understand that we dont just drive cars, its a passion

I feel for you!!:cry

Glad to hear you're okay!

Take it as an opportunity to get a few minor defects fixed up... as long as the chassis is still pretty straight.

Make sure that you get checked by a doc for whiplash - this often takes a day or two to set in.

Hope you're back on the road soon.

Sorry to hear about your baby. As much as we love our cars, the most important thing is you.

As you have been told your baby will be paid for by the others at fault, so get it checked out by a panelbeater who knows VW's. I am sure there are many here who will recommend someone to you to get the quotes done.

Good Luck to you and your baby

;)
